Vincent Warne '18 Collaborates on Research

Vincent Warne is working with Priscilla Meyer (professor of Russian, Eastern European and Eurasian studies) on research about Woody Allen's "Sleeper" and Russian author Yevgeny Zamyatin's novel "We." The two plan to co-author a scholarly article.

In Fall 216, Warne took Meyer's course on "Woody Allen and the Russian Novel."

"He was an outstanding student there, and taught us all a lot about how to analyze film," said Meyer. "That is why I asked him to work with me on this article, whose idea was part of the course work; we explored the hypothesis of the relationship between the film and that novel further in class through other science fiction films, in part thanks to Vincent's knowledge of them."
