Taylor Ghesquiere of Men's Lacrosse Team Named to USILA Player of the Year Watch List

Senior Taylor Ghesquiere of the men's lacrosse team has been named to the first-ever United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Player of the Year Watch List. He is among just 12 players in the country to be placed on the list.

The Cardinals are coming off a historic 2017 season in which the team racked up numerous postseason accolades. Ghesquiere is coming off an incredible season in which he garnered Second Team All-American laurels. The 6-5 midfielder finished fifth in the NESCAC in man-up goals (8) and eighth in total goals (47), while his 51 points were fourth most on the team. He was also named a First Team All-NESCAC and First Team All-New England selection, and currently ranks 27th on Wesleyan's all-time scoring list with 107 career points (93 goals, 14 assists).
