Chad Malinowski of Men's Ice Hockey Earns All-NESCAC Laurels

Junior captain Chad Malinowski of the Wesleyan men's ice hockey team was named to the All-NESCAC Second Team.

Malinowski is making his second consecutive appearance on the Second Team, as he has become one of the top defenders in the conference. He has been the complete package as a defenseman for Wesleyan, excelling in the defensive zone, carrying the puck through the neutral zone, and with his excellent shot and passing ability from the point in the offensive zone. As a captain, he has also been a great leader for the Cardinals, and has contributed with three goals and 11 assists for 14 points. The Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. native is tied for fifth within the NESCAC in scoring by defensemen.
