Adriane Tharp Recognized at Spring Prize Reception

At a prize reception on May 9, Adriane Tharp was awarded the Horgan Prize for writing the best short story of the year. She also received the Annie Sonnenblick Writing Award, which provides financial support for a student who wishes to undertake an independent writing project during the summer between junior and senior year.

Wesleyan's awards, prizes, and scholarships program connects recipients to the legacies of alumni, administrators, faculty, and friends of the university whose lives and work are honored through endowed gifts.
